At the start of May, 2019, I wrote about how easy making topographic maps for outdoor hobbies has become. The event at Spruce Hill has passed.
You can review my latest effort in map-making.
Even though we have trails in the provincial data and in the OpenStreetMaps data, I still needed to trace aerial imagery for some of the small-scale trails. I also chose to trace new vegetation cover polygons to help make wayfinding easier. ( Though, perhaps I might learn which provincial vegetation codes mean "clearing". )
